Raise capital beyond member shares and bank loans through blended finance, SPVs and cooperative bonds.
Diversified Financing for Cooperatives teaches cooperative CEOs, CFOs, and investment committees how to raise capital beyond member shares and bank loans. Participants structure blended finance vehicles, SPVs, leasing models, cooperative bonds and commercial paper, then pitch a Capital Mobilisation Strategy to a live panel of DFI representatives, impact investors and capital market regulators. Casework draws on real transactions from African agricoops, housing unions, and SACCOs. Graduates earn the Certificate in Cooperative Capital Diversification and leave with investor feedback and a fundable roadmap.
